Queer Tango Budapest
We dance Argentine tango regardless of traditional roles of the dancers.
This project aims to include the gay and lesbian community and all their friends into a free and unprejudiced way of dancing, accompanying the Queer Tango movements around the world.
Everyone is welcome to join the weekly tango lessons!

‘As a journalist I believe that tolerance can be learned, as I also believe that it is not only the task, but also the responsibility of the media to abate or completely dismantle prejudices through positive examples. The objective is to get Hungary closer to its desired status, to the conception of a peaceful, tolerant, mature welfare society. Though numerous positive examples and feedbacks see the light about Hungary, unfortunately the majority of Hungarian society has a general level of tolerance that is quite far from that status. This is why it is so important to know about and support such already worldwide existing and perfectly functioning initiatives, like the one that an Italian-Argentinian gay couple brought to Budapest for the first time. Tango Queer Budapest is an open, tolerant, inclusive community. It has great effect on the body, soul, and on the tolerance level here in Budapest’
