SignAll is a groundbreaking solution for the automatisation of sign language translation. It will improve the live standard of 70 million deaf people. Its state-of-the-art, camera based technology uses computer vision and machine learning.
Problem- Sign language is the Deaf people’s mother tongue, all other communication is a hardly learnable for them. Deafhood causes extreme communication barriers. Interpreting services remain expensive and hard to access. It’s time for technology to meet this challenge.
Solution- SignAll is the first verified technical solution, a kind of ‘Google translate for sign language’, that breaks down communication barriers. SignAll will soon mark the dawn of a new era.
Nominated by Gábor Balázs Pőcze:
‘There are few things more frustrating than not understanding each other. SignAll transforms sign language into a written, spoken language. A few years from now people with hearing problems will be less nervous when walking up to a help desk or into an office, because they will be better understood then before. And this will make everyone feel better‘
