Budapest Pride: Step Up against Inequality
Our billboard drew attention to one of the most crucial problems of the Hungarian LGBTQ community, that is, to the constitutional article banning same-sex marriage. Thanks to the interactive design of the interface, attendees of the exhibition could individually “step up” onto the podium in front of the billboard, cover the words “DON’T”, and raise their voice against social injustice and inequality by sharing their view on various online platforms.
Nominated by Anna Kádár:
‘Geometry Global created a giant poster for Budapest Pride, that comes to life, conveys its message by getting the audience involved in the most simple way. To really see the call-to-action, starting poster that says: “Lépj fel..” (Step up..) one really has to step onto the little podium placed right in front of it, in order for the real transmission of the message to happen: for NEM to be covered up in the, at first sight scary, headline’
